Chicago Rose of Tralee
We are looking for young ladies, age 18-27, of Irish heritage that would like to represent Chicago in Tralee Ireland at the Rose of Tralee International Festival. The winner of the Chicago Rose of Tralee will represent the Irish American community and Chicago as she competes for the “International Rose of Tralee” title with other candidates from all over the world!
Please fill out the application completely and mail to the address listed along with a 3X5 photo. Please hurry as there are only 40 spots available. You must have your FREE preliminary application in the hands of the Chicago Rose of Tralee Committee no later than March 21, 2012.
If you are chosen as one of the finalists, you must secure a $300.00 sponsorship fee for your entry into the Chicago Contest to be held on March 31, 2012 at the Abbey, Chicago, Illinois. Under "Sponsorship Opportunities," please find “Friend of the Rose” sponsorship opportunities. This is a great way to have a business sponsor your participation fee.
The Chicago Rose Selection will take place at the Abbey on March 31, 2012 and leading up to the event we will participate in the Chicago Polar Plunge, parades and more! The staged event will be held on that Saturday with the winner being announced that evening!
The 2012 Chicago Rose will receive:
* A round trip ticket to Ireland to participate in the Rose of Tralee Regional held in June.* If chosen as the winner of the Regional Selection return again to Tralee from August 17-21st.* An all expenses paid stay in Ireland for Regional and possibly International Selection* Press photos for Ireland* Tiara* Rose Pendant* Plus other gifts!
